The controllers in the tower are responsible for the safe, orderly, and rapid flow of air traffic within the Aerodrome Traffic Zone (ATZ). Their key duties include:
• Maneuvering Area Control: Managing the movement of all aircraft and vehicles on the active runways and taxiways. No aircraft can taxi onto a runway or take off without explicit ADC clearance.
