New Delhi Subject: Alarming Rise in Juvenile Hit-and-Run Cases Sir/Madam, Through the columns of your esteemed newspaper, I wish to draw the attention of the public and authorities to the disturbing increase in hit-and-run incidents involving juveniles. These reckless acts not only endanger lives but also reveal a lack of accountability among young drivers. The primary responsibility lies with parents who allow minors access to vehicles. Lax enforcement of traffic laws, peer pressure, and a lack of awareness about road safety have worsened the situation. Strict legal action, regular awareness drives in schools, and parental counselling are crucial steps to tackle this menace. Schools must include road safety education in their curriculum. Community and media must also step in to promote responsible driving among youth. Yours sincerely,
