Step 2: Monosomy (2n-1) has one chromosome missing, trisomy (2n+1) has one extra, and tetrasomy (2n+2) has two extra copies of a chromosome, all of which are abnormal, aneuploid states.
Step 3: Disomy (2n) simply means two copies of a chromosome are present, which is the normal, euploid diploid condition, not an abnormal one.
Step 4: Since disomy describes the normal state, it is the one that does not belong to aneuploidy.
