Concept:
In vivo (natural) haploid production occurs when an embryo develops without the normal fusion of male and female gametic nuclei.
Step 1: Parthenogenesis (B).
As discussed previously, Parthenogenesis is the development of an embryo directly from an unfertilized egg cell. Since the egg is already haploid ($n$), the resulting embryo remains haploid.
Step 2: Pseudogamy (D).
Pseudogamy (or "false marriage") is a process where pollination or the presence of a male gamete is required to stimulate the egg to divide, but the male nucleus never actually fuses with the egg. The result is a haploid embryo of maternal origin.
Step 3: Eliminating Others.
Meiosis (C) is the process that creates the haploid cells, but it is not the process that produces an embryo. Karyogenesis (A) generally refers to the formation of the nucleus.
