Solution and Explanation
Present age of Mahesh = 5 years
Present age of Anup = 5−2 = 3 years
Let present age of Shyam = x
Then, present age of Anup = x − \(\frac{6}{18}\)
x − \(\frac{6}{18}\) = 3
So, x − 6 = 3\(\times\)18 = 54
Therefore, x = 54+6
=60.
So the correct option is (B)
