The Correct Option is B

Solution and Explanation

Let ‘P’ has Rs. a
Therefore, amount ‘S’ have = Rs. 3a
Amount ‘Q’ have = 1.25 × 3a = Rs. 3.75a
Let the average amount with by all four be Rs. p
Therefore, amount with ‘R’ = Rs. p
According to the question,
3.75a + 3a + a = 4p – p
Or, 7.75a = 3p
Or, \(\frac{p}{a}= \frac{31}{12}\)
Therefore, p = 4300 × \((\frac{31}{43})\) = Rs. 3100
Amount with ‘R’ = Rs. 3100
So, the correct option is (B) : Rs 3100.
