Beta-2 adrenergic receptors are Gs-coupled GPCRs. Agonist binding activates Gs, which stimulates Adenylate Cyclase (Adenylyl Cyclase) to convert ATP to cAMP. cAMP activates PKA, producing the cellular response (bronchodilation, smooth muscle relaxation, glycogenolysis).
