Step 1: Vitamin B12 (cobalamin) is synthesised by microorganisms and reaches humans through animal foods. It is found in meat, liver, fish, poultry, eggs, milk and milk products.
Step 2: Plant foods, including green leafy vegetables, do not naturally contain B12, so option b is out. Corn oil and sunflower oil are pure fats and carry no B12 either.
Step 3: Meat (especially liver) is therefore the richest natural source among the options. Strict vegetarians depend on fortified cereals or supplements to meet their B12 needs.
