Report on Lecture on Self Defence and Safety
A lecture on Self Defence and Safety was organised in our college auditorium on 10th January 2024. The programme was arranged by the Women Development Cell to create awareness among students about personal safety. The session was conducted by Mr. Rajesh Verma, a certified self-defence trainer and safety expert.
The speaker explained various techniques to handle unsafe situations and demonstrated simple self-defence moves. He also highlighted the importance of mental alertness, confidence, and presence of mind. Practical demonstrations were given, and a few students were invited to participate on stage.
The session was highly informative and interactive. Students actively asked questions regarding safety measures in public places and during travel. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by the Principal. Overall, the lecture was useful and empowering for all students.
