Concept: Management principles are guidelines for human behavior and organizational decision-making. Unlike the principles of pure science, they are:
• Flexible: They can be modified by the manager as per the situation.
• Universal: Applicable to all types of organizations.
• Behavioural: Aimed at influencing human behavior.
Determining the nature of the principles.
Because management deals with unpredictable human beings and dynamic environments, its principles cannot be Absolute (static or fixed). They are relative and situational.
