Hint:

Answer 1

The Correct Option is A

Step 1: Understanding the Question
We must state what the winners of the Major Dhyan Chand Khel Ratna Award receive. The second paragraph of the passage describes this.

Step 2: Find the line in the passage
The passage says: "Winners receive a medallion, a certificate, and a cash prize of Rs.25 lakhs." This is the exact list of items.

Step 3: Check option (1)
It says a medallion, a certificate and a cash prize of Rs.25 lakhs. This matches the passage fully. So (1) is correct.

Step 4: Check option (2)
Rs.15 lakhs is the cash prize of the Arjun and Dronacharya awards, not the Khel Ratna. So (2) is wrong.

Step 5: Check options (3) and (4)
A bronze statuette is given with the Arjun and Dronacharya awards, not with the Khel Ratna. Also Rs.5 lakhs and Rs.20 lakhs are not the Khel Ratna prize. So (3) and (4) are wrong.

Final Answer:
Winners get a medallion, a certificate and Rs.25 lakhs. This is option (1).
